This was an idea I tossed around while brainstorming. There were times where I felt it was too much to do to Jessica.
But the more I thought about it more it felt required. It really informed alot about who Jessica is, and started her down some paths that you'll see down the road. It opened a lot of doors that I just couldn't pass up.
Jessica simply wouldn't be the same person without the accident.
I've been around so many brilliant people who just get complacent. You get excited and are drawn into what you are working on and you start to forget things like safety goggles. All the other tests didn't really need them, why would this one?

Ouch it makes me wince for her D: but I find it great that you actually do this to your character from the beginning, also since it's like, things that happen in real life
Jessica Soto is no longer waiting for the future to arrive. She is putting everything she has into creating working teleportation device and will not rest until she succeeds. How much will seeking this accomplishment take from her? Why does she want teleportation so desperately?
